At Wild Wing Safaris we pride ourselves on bespoke, personally-tailored, hands-on safaris, and you are guaranteed to experience first-class hunting in a variety of breath-taking settings. We offer elite hunting of wild game birds and plains game in their natural environment, in a number of contrasting styles. We have also recently added Tiger-Fishing to our portfolio of packages. Wild Wing Safaris, working in conjunction with landowners and conservation authorities, strives to provide outstanding hunting, in an ethical and sporting manner, in many unique and spectacular locations. These locations range from Northern Zululand, down to the Umkomaas Valley, westwards towards the grasslands of the Natal Midlands and up into the foothills of the mighty Drakensberg Mountains.

Overview:

Wild Wing Safaris is fortunate to have again secured 87 bird shooting leases for the Shooting Season. In total, these shooting concessions equate to 185 000 hectares (400 000 acres). Having access to so much land ensures that we have an excellent opportunity to find birds wherever they are their best at the time.

We actively scout and target the birds in different areas throughout the season. The bulk of these shooting leases are on agricultural farms, however we are best known for putting our guns on duck and pigeon flight lines and do not often shoot on the actual fields/crops or over decoys. The waterfowl shooting and about 30% of the pigeon shooting is done in the Central Drakensberg region, which has fantastic aesthetic value.

Big game and plains game hunting is conducted in three consolidated blocks, all which have the Big Five species.

Tailor-made Safaris, which can include Plains Game Hunting & Bird Shooting, R&R at a River Camp, are our speciality, and can include photographic add-ons and one or two fishing options.
